Max Myanmar Group of Companies, owned by Myanmar national entrepreneur was originally established as Max Myanmar Co., Ltd. In 1993. Ever since, it started importing buses from Japan followed by import of generators and earth-moving equipment & machineries, it steadily expanded and diversified initially from trading business into the fields of civil construction, mechanical engineering, transportation, hotel & tourism and rubber plantation. The Present status of Max Myanmar Group of Companies comprise of 6 independent enterprising entity:

(2) Construction Co., Ltd.
(3) Hotel & Tourism Co., Ltd.
(4) Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
(5) Services Co., Ltd.
(6) Gems & Jewellery Co., Ltd.

The recent venture in 2005 was the Rubber Plantation Project (5000 acres) in Belin and the Royal Kumudra Hotel in Naypyitaw which started operation on March 27, 2006. This addition of Royal Kumudra Hotel with international standard facilities to the already reputable Hotel Max, Chaung Tha Beach will enhance the image and prestige, of Hotel and Tourism Co., Ltd. This is another hallmark of achievement successfully accomplished by the Company within the specified time frame.

Another project worth highlighting in the construction sector is the construction of concrete expressway and roads project in Naypyitaw. It comprises of 18 miles of 8 lane expressway and 32 miles of road network with different carriageways.

The project was initiated in late 2003 and is still in progress. Main features of the project is the enormous of earth work and concreting work involved and ancillary structures.

The company deploys more than 100 number of various earth moving equipments and heavy machines and three concrete batching plants.

Max Myanmar currently employ staff, consisting of managerial and professional staff, operating staff and workers. While the company is enforcing on production drive, it goes together with the welfare of the employees. These include, field allowance, bonus, meals, medicare, education allowance and annual celebrations for pleasure and relaxation.

Activities​

Max Myanmar Group of Companies, bearing in mind that besides our own business, the company needs to take part in social works in the field of Education, Sports, Health and Religious Affairs.

Knowing that investments in Education can bring a long lasting benefit for the country, company have donated three new primary school buildings and renovation and extension of buildings of two high school and one primary school, not only the building but donation includes furniture, school dress and even stationery for all the students and teachers. Company also donated occasionally to school for orphanage. At present company is giving full support for some medical students and university students from Ayeyarwaddy Division who have financial difficulties for further studies.

The President of Max Myanmar Group of Companies was also elected as President for Myanmar Football Federation and Tennis Federation of Myanmar. With love and loyalty for the country, Company have sacrifice it's time, management and financial assistance to these two sport Federation to uplift them to international level and bring glory for the country.

Believing that taking care for health will bring wealth for the nation, company donates to general hospitals, Tuberculosis Hospital, Psychosis Hospital and Central Women's Hospital.

Company also take part in social works for Religious Affairs and have donated in various occasions such as maintenance for Bagan Ancient Pagodas, Kahtein (Kathina in Pali), Buddha Images (Laba Muni, Bronze Mudra etc) and financing the Novitiation of 100 boys. Company also donates rice, oil, salt and beans to the monasteries.
